Coed Slowpitch Tournament March 13th

Westside Recreation and Park District is hosting a coed slowpitch tournament Saturday, March 13th at 9am at Franklin Field. Ages 16 and up can participate. Fee is $150 per team. Teams must register by Thursday, March 10th. For more information please contact Les Clark att (661)763-4246

Maricopa Gusher Days March 19th, 20th, and 21st

Maricopa Unified School District will hold its first annual Carnival and Car and Motorcycle Show during Gusher Days on the 20th from 11am- 3pm at 955 Stanislaus St. All proceeds benefit Maricopa Students. For more info contact Mel at 769-9329.

VITA - at Taft Branch Library through March 31st

VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) to begin at Taft Branch Library. Free income tax help will be available at the Taft Branch Library starting now. Volunteers from the VITA program will be available on Wednesdays from 11;30 am to 6:00pm through March 31st. No appointment is necessary. Taxpayers wanting help should bring any tax forms they receive in the mail; records of income and deductions; a copy of last year's return and their social security card.
